Bridgestone Blizzak LM-500 Tires
The Bridgestone Blizzak LM-500 tire is a winter high performance tire that gives maximum winter traction on snow and sporty handling on dry roads. It comes as original equipment on the BMW i3 and i8, but is an excellent replacement tire option for other sedans and sporty coupers. As you would expect in a tire designed for BMW, it has excellent grip on ice, good control in slush, and traction on wet road conditions even during high speed driving. This tire is heavily siped for biting edges and enough space between the tread blocks to prevent the snow packing into the tread, and to disperse the slush and water. The casing of the tire is reinforced to ensure lots of sporty performance and handling. With a high-silica rubber compound and 3-D zigzag sipes, this tire has several innovative design elements that equate to a safe, smooth, and quiet drive even in the worst of winters.
